One day, a leader came to me and asked me, why is he the only one earning great income, but the rest of his network is struggling to get good result. In fact, this happened to many good leaders in many companies as well. They definitely would like to grow their downlines to earn as much income as they have, but it just did not happen that way.
So why is it so? I personally concluded that it’s because of the 2 main reasons:

Most of the network marketing company system only caters for certain group of people in the network. This can be observed from 2 aspects, the compensation plan as well as marketing strategy.
In terms of compensation plan, certain company emphasize from retail bonus, and the only way to keep earning the retail bonus is to keep opening new market and to sell their prospect as big lot as possible in their first order. Thus joining this kind of company is like getting a sales job and people are not motivated to move up their ranking as it’s challenging and they may not earn as much. On the other hand, certain company may have a compensation plan which focus more on the leadership bonus and encourage more leaders to build their network. In fact, we need a complete compensation plan that cater to all types of people in our network, which includes Customer, Part timer, Small Leader, Medium Leader, and the Top Leader. This will encourage all these people to put in more effort in the network and earn the income they deserve.
In terms of company marketing strategy, certain company put their main investment to serve the customers better, eg. Providing attractive promotion, organizing product roadshow, having event-day offer etc. They may tend to focus to bring in more new customers and sales. Meanwhile, some company put their resources mainly on building a complete education system to grow leaders, organizing incentive trips for leaders, planning for enrichment courses for different group of leaders etc. Likewise, it’s best to choose a company who has complete system that can serve all 5 types of people in the network, so that all of them get the respective support from the company in order to grow their business.
#2: System outdated
In the new social-media era, network marketing business goes online and globally. The old system which works well in early days may not be practicable nowadays.
It’s fantastic that many millions of people can be reached through the Internet, where offline network marketing was comparatively more limited. However, offline network marketing can create much more trust and bonding among leaders that people might not be able to replace it completely via social media.
Therefore, you got to find a system that can join the offline business and online marketing together.
