Leadership within ourselves

Awakening is a word which I personally like very much.

It gives you a feeling of ‘Ah – Ha’!

Enlightenment, Awakened, Awareness, all carries the meaning of true wisdom, long buried in our mind, our heart and our soul.

An upline should be a good leader.A good leader should be a good parent.A good parent should be someone who always want us to be better off than them.And instead of ‘putting something’ into our mind, they ‘inspired something’ out from ourselves.

Awakening leadership is a leadership within ourselves.

Awakening leadership believes everyone is talented and gifted, just in different way and different form.

I suppose if you are an experience leaders in this industry, you will accept the fact that people always come and go.

Now either you feel tiring, or you simply feel satisfied, when people leave for good, and they have become a better person, then you should be happy.And you are a good upline.

But do not worry, getting know more about the Awakening Leadership and Attraction Marketing, the right people will show up.

So then, good people go and good people come again.

This should be the right network marketing ecology.

Balancing

In chinese, there is a philosophy call “Yijing”. It teaches us everything has a balance both sides of ‘Yin’ & ‘Yang’.

For example,We have days and nights.We have ups and downs.We have left and right.

Even some quotes you will find it quite ‘Yijing’ like whatever goes up will eventually go down.

Awakening Leadership will talk a lot about balancing.

Well of course, you may see a lot of successful people have extreme characteristic.

But even extreme, there’re still be both sides or you will not know where extreme sides go.

Have you ever think of one can be both extrovert and introvert?

A lot of personality tests try to define someone like using colour, horoscope or catogorise in different quadrants. But I think every individual is unique, in a sense that they have a combination of different colours (using colour test as example), or the percentage in each colour varied.

Every test can only be a reference for no can really define us but only ourselves.

But bear with me, knowing ourselves is a very long journey.

It is just the same like network marketing, building ourselves and building people takes very very long time.

So, haha.

If next time you have some leaders coming to sponsor you with ‘something’ offered, either they are not ready to work with you in your network business for long term, or they simply never learn The Awakening Leadership.

True Leader

Have you ever thought of this? Where actually do we learn leadership from at the first place in network marketing?

In life, we imitate our parent, our teachers, or anyone we respected.

In network marketing, we will be influenced by our upline, our up up line, superstar leader on the stage, or some top management people.

When we start to idolise someone, we tend to feel everything he/she does/says is cool and right.

And in network marketing, this indeed is a way to get people on board for the business.

But who is the one who really show you what leadership is?

This in turn will tell you who is a good upline, or how to become a good upline.

The answer is really simple,People who want you to be better off than them, is the real leader.

This is another important concept of Awakening Leadership.

If you still remember in our very first article, a common definition of leadership is, the art of motivating a group of people to act towards achieving a common goal.

But in Awakening Leadership, i shall define Leadership is, ‘by’ motivating a group of people to act towards achieving a common goals, that group of people eventually ‘know and found themselves’ in the process, and thus the real fulfilment is not only achieving the common goal, but the real satisfaction comes from becoming a better person after the whole process.

So, sit down and relax a bit, ask yourself this question, throughout the years in network marketing, have you become who you really want?

Leading People

The difference between asking someone not to do something and offering a choice for others to think and choose wisely is totally not the same.

Some leaders use empowerment or authority to order someone is merely a disguise of making people fear, pyschologically it works well every time but then it distorts individual personality.

Some parents, teachers, bosses, leaders use orders as threats.

It will only show short term results.

To me, these are not qualified leaders, they simply use people as a tools to achieve their own goals.

A true leadership is to inspire someone, and make the best out of someone.

A true leader magnanimously allow people to have their own thoughts and own thinking.

Allowing everybody to have different thinking and to march towards the same goal is not easy.

This is why in later part I will share that learning interpersonal skills and effective communication is crucial in The Awakening Leadership.
